Swimward Support
Swimward: Your Swim Companion is available now on the App Store for iPhone. Swimward keeps preferences on your device and does not require an account.
Quick start
Swim, then let Swimward do the reading.
Record a pool or open-water workout with Apple Watch or another source that saves swimming workouts to Apple Health. Swimward imports the completed workout, gives it a clear recap, and suggests one conservative next step that fits the pool you actually use.
Quick help
Is Swimward available to download?
Yes. Swimward is available now on the App Store for iPhone.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
Apple Watch is the most natural way to record swims and receive scheduled workouts, but Swimward reads supported swimming workouts stored in Apple Health from any compatible source.
Why is a swim missing?
Swimward imports completed swimming workouts from Apple Health with read-only access. Make sure the workout was saved as a swimming workout in Health and that Swimward has permission to read workout data in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health.
Does it support my pool?
Swimward supports 25-yard, 25-meter, and 50-meter pools, plus backyard and custom pool lengths. Saved pools keep home, gym, seasonal, short, and custom pools organized.
Will a missed week hurt my progress?
No. There are no punitive streaks, and rest never removes companion growth or discoveries. Quiet weeks are treated as rest, never failure.
Is there a subscription?
No. Swimward is free to download with useful included features and an optional one-time Lifetime unlock.
How do I restore Swimward Lifetime?
Open Settings, find Swimward Lifetime, and choose Restore Purchase while signed in with the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
Does Swimward write to Apple Health?
No. The release app uses read-only Health access. Sending a planned set to the Apple Watch Workout app is separate from writing completed workouts to Health.
Where is my data stored?
Plans, pools, companion preferences, and reminder choices are kept on your device. Swimward has no accounts and no advertising, and does not claim cloud sync or cross-platform support.
Troubleshooting
- Fully close and reopen the app.
- Check Apple Health permissions: Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Swimward should allow reading workout data.
- If a plan did not appear in the Apple Watch Workout app, confirm the Lifetime unlock is active and the plan was scheduled for a date.
- Same-pool comparisons need swims recorded in the same pool length — check that the workout used the pool length you expect.
- When reporting a problem, note your device model, iOS version, Swimward build, and what happened just before the issue.
