Not medical care or emergency guidance
QUOTA CORE and QUOTA OVERLOAD cannot diagnose an injury, assess technique, or decide whether exercise is medically appropriate for you. For an emergency or severe symptoms, stop and contact local emergency services.
What the apps do
Both QUOTA apps organize strength training, record completed work, and provide transparent rules for future suggestions. They can help you plan a session and notice what you did previously. They do not observe your movement, know your medical history, or replace a qualified clinician or coach.
Stop when your body says stop
End the set for sharp, unusual, or increasing pain; dizziness; chest pain; numbness; loss of control; or technique breakdown. Seek qualified help when appropriate.
Treat every prescription as adjustable
A repeat, reduction, substitution, skipped interval, longer rest, or ended workout can be the correct training decision. The app's next suggestion is not a command.
Set up the environment first
Use appropriate clearances, safeties, spotters, attachments, and equipment. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for every rack, machine, cable, bench, bar, plate, dumbbell, or digital-resistance device.
QUOTA CORE limits
CORE balances movement patterns and progresses from completed sets and effort feedback. Its rule of waiting for repeated successful sessions before advancing is a conservative product choice, not a universal scientific threshold. It cannot verify that a reported set was completed with appropriate range of motion, breathing, bracing, or technique.
Timers are pacing aids, not instructions to continue through pain or fatigue. Record the load you actually used, choose only equipment and setup that are truly available, and replace any movement you cannot perform safely.
QUOTA OVERLOAD limits
OVERLOAD supports high-volume strength programming. Program percentages and training maxes do not account for every lifter's readiness, recovery, technique, injury history, or response to fatigue. Start conservatively, especially if you are new to the program, returning after time away, changing units or equipment, or training without supervision.
Equipment substitutions are movement-matched starting estimates, not validated one-to-one load conversions. Leverage, stability, pulley ratios, resistance curves, machine geometry, and digital resistance can make the same displayed number feel and behave differently. Edit the estimate before the first set, retain repetitions in reserve, and do not use substituted AMRAP work to prove that a canonical barbell training max should increase.
Apple Health does not validate a workout
If enabled, the apps write the start and end time of a completed strength workout to Apple Health. That record does not verify exercise quality, energy expenditure, technique, medical suitability, or that a prescribed load was appropriate.
Who should seek individualized advice
Consider guidance from a qualified clinician or strength professional before using the apps if you are pregnant, under medical care, returning from injury or surgery, managing a cardiovascular, neurological, metabolic, musculoskeletal, or other health condition, or unsure whether resistance training is appropriate for you.
No guarantee of results
Training outcomes vary. NovoBuild does not guarantee strength, fitness, body-composition, performance, or health outcomes from using either app.

Report unclear or potentially unsafe guidance to support@novobuild.net. Include the app name, exercise or screen, and enough context to identify the issue, but do not send unnecessary medical information. See QUOTA Support for troubleshooting.
