Swimward Accessibility
Updated: July 29, 2026
Swimward: Swim Habit Companion is currently in development and testing through a private TestFlight. NovoBuild is building Swimward with native Apple interface technologies and designing it to support Apple accessibility settings from the first release.
Accessibility design goals
- Dynamic Type — text and layouts that adapt to larger reading sizes.
- VoiceOver labels and logical navigation for primary actions and swim receipts.
- Progress conveyed with text, numbers, and structure — never by color alone.
- Reduced-motion preferences respected, including the animated cove scene.
- Light and dark appearances.
- Native Apple system controls for Health permissions, notifications, and workout scheduling.
Because Swimward has not shipped publicly, this statement describes design goals for the in-development app rather than the verified behavior of a released product. Accessibility can also be affected by device model, operating-system version, text size, and language.
Reporting an accessibility problem
TestFlight participants and anyone with accessibility questions can email support@novobuild.net with the subject “Swimward Accessibility.” If possible, include the device model, operating-system version, the accessibility feature in use, and the screen or action involved.
NovoBuild reviews accessibility feedback as part of ongoing development.
