Terms of Use for QUOTA CORE & QUOTA OVERLOAD

These Terms govern your use of the QUOTA CORE and QUOTA OVERLOAD apps, published by NovoBuild LLC. By downloading or using either app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

Subject to these Terms, NovoBuild grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the apps for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple-branded devices you own or control. You may not unlawfully copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, remove proprietary notices from, or misuse the apps.

2. Training information, not medical care

The apps are workout-planning and logging tools. They do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, emergency services, or individualized coaching. They cannot assess your technique, training history, injury status, illness, sleep, recovery, or every source of fatigue.

You are responsible for deciding whether an exercise, load, program, substitution, or progression is appropriate for you. Use loads you can control. Stop if you experience sharp, unusual, or increasing pain, dizziness, chest pain, loss of control, technique breakdown, or any condition that makes training feel unsafe. Seek qualified medical or coaching advice when appropriate.

3. Program and load limitations

QUOTA CORE's progression thresholds are conservative product rules, not universal scientific thresholds. QUOTA OVERLOAD's percentages, training-max changes, accessory suggestions, and equipment substitutions are starting points. A labeled load on a dumbbell, cable, machine, digital-resistance device, or barbell is not automatically equivalent to the same number on another implement.

Substitution estimates are intentionally editable and cannot guarantee the same stimulus, effort, safety, or result as the original movement. Repeating, reducing, replacing, or ending a set or workout is always a valid choice.

4. Your data and backups

You retain your rights in the training information you create. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and protecting exported files. Optional iCloud sync, Apple Health writing, notifications, widgets, and Live Activities depend on Apple services, device settings, network availability, and permissions that NovoBuild does not control. 5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use either app for an unlawful purpose or in a way that harms another person.
  • Attempt to bypass security, interfere with operation, or gain unauthorized access.
  • Misrepresent app-generated suggestions as medical advice or guaranteed results.
  • Use the apps where relying on them could create an immediate safety risk.

6. Intellectual property

The apps, their software, visual design, written guidance, original artwork, and NovoBuild and QUOTA branding are owned by NovoBuild LLC or used under applicable licenses and are protected by intellectual-property laws. References to third-party equipment, platforms, or training systems do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

7. App Store and Apple services

Apple's App Store terms and applicable Apple media-services terms also govern your download and use. Apple is not responsible for providing support for the apps. Questions and support requests should be directed to NovoBuild.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the apps are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. NovoBuild does not warrant that the apps will be uninterrupted or error-free, that stored data will never be lost, or that a workout, program, progression, or substitution will produce a particular result.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NovoBuild LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of either app, including injury, training decisions, loss of data, lost profits, or interruption of service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Changes and termination

NovoBuild may update the apps or these Terms as the products change. The date above identifies the current Terms. We may suspend or discontinue an app or feature where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law. You may stop using and delete an app at any time.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
