Island Aces accessibility
Updated September 11, 2026. Island Aces is an aviation action game in internal testing for iPhone and iPad.
Control and comfort options
- Choose pull-down or push-up pitch controls, bank-to-turn or aerobatic steering, and a reduced pitch range for aiming.
- Optional auto-fire shoots when the guns line up, reducing the number of simultaneous touch actions during gun combat.
- Choose reduced camera motion and turn sound off independently.
- Pause a flight to read settings or take a break. Flight School lessons can be replayed; supported flights offer checkpoint retries.
- Mission objectives, target markers, damage status and results are shown visually.
Current limitations
Flight requires real-time visual tracking and touch steering. Combat, rescue and timed activities have speed or timing demands. The game uses a custom Unity interface; VoiceOver navigation, Dynamic Type, Switch Control and full keyboard or controller accessibility have not been established. Reduced motion limits camera movement but does not stop aircraft, effects or the game world from moving.
Text and layout are being reviewed on landscape screens. These options do not constitute a formal accessibility conformance claim.
