Frequently asked questions
Does “logged” mean the item is done?
Yes. A log is a completion record. Tapping Done now records that you completed the item at that date and time.
Can I correct a completion?
Yes. Open the item, then edit a history entry to change its date, time, or note. You can also remove an incorrect entry.
How do note-based reminders work?
When a note contains a supported phrase such as “call in a week,” “tomorrow,” “next Friday,” or “every six weeks,” Lastmark can suggest a reminder. The phrase is processed on your device, and you confirm the proposed date before it is saved.
Why did I not receive a reminder?
Open Lastmark Settings and check the Notifications status. If notifications are disabled, use Open System Settings to allow them. Also confirm that the item still has an active reminder and that Focus settings are not silencing it.
What is included in Lifetime Pro?
The free tier includes up to five active Lastmarks, unlimited completion history, widgets, Siri and Shortcuts actions, exports, and one active reminder. Lifetime Pro (US $5.99, one-time) unlocks unlimited active Lastmarks and reminders, private iCloud sync, and App Lock. It is a one-time App Store purchase — no subscription, ads, account, or time-limited trial.
How do I restore Lifetime Pro?
Open Lastmark Settings and tap Restore purchases while signed into the same Apple Account used for the original purchase.
How does iCloud sync work?
If you enable it with Lifetime Pro, Lastmark stores its private library in your Apple iCloud account so your supported Apple devices can receive updates. NovoBuild does not operate a Lastmark sync server.
How do I add a widget?
Touch and hold the Home Screen or Lock Screen, choose the widget editor, search for Lastmark, and select a size. Pin items in Lastmark to control what appears on Home Screen widgets. Edit the configurable Lock Screen widget to choose one item.
Does Lastmark work with widgets, Siri, and Shortcuts?
Yes. Lastmark includes Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets plus Siri and Shortcuts actions for logging an item or asking when it was last done.
Can I back up or move my data?
Yes. Settings can export a readable CSV or a complete Lastmark backup. Import can merge records without duplicating matching identifiers or replace the current library after confirmation.
Does Lastmark have an account?
No. Lastmark does not require a NovoBuild account.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual items and history inside Lastmark. Removing the app removes its local app data from that device. If private iCloud sync was enabled, Apple may retain synced app data in the user’s iCloud storage until it is removed through the relevant Apple settings.
Please do not include private Lastmark notes or exported libraries in a support email unless support specifically requests them. A description of the problem, your iPhone model, and your iOS version are usually all we need.
