Approach Daily 2.0 expands the field of operations

Approach Daily 2.0 is available now for iPhone and iPad. The update keeps the calm plan-first structure while making the game easier to read, revise, and play in either portrait or landscape.

Planner Undo can step back through slot, runway, wind-shift, and hold-token decisions before a plan runs. Active constraints remain visible, mission names now match their mechanics more closely, and hospital, Army, Air Base, and carrier chapters use distinct vehicles, destinations, and boards—including a ship-shaped carrier deck with arresting-wire recoveries.

Daily puzzles have a stronger difficulty curve, while each day still offers the same shared Easy, Medium, and Hard trio to every player.

The $4.99 base game includes 48 campaign missions across six airport operations, six interactive tutorials, and the shared Easy, Medium, and Hard Daily Trio. There are no ads or subscriptions.

The optional one-time $3.99 Operations Expansion contains 32 missions across Lifeline Command, Army Aviation, Air Base Operations, and Carrier Watch. Fresh installs can play Lifeline Command Mission 1 as a free preview. Players upgrading from version 1.x retain all eight Lifeline Command missions they already had; the other expansion campaigns remain part of the one-time unlock.

Approach Daily remains playable offline, with optional private iCloud progress sync and optional Game Center leaderboards and achievements. It has no NovoBuild account, advertising, analytics, or tracking.
